what does "following" mean?
while not traditional for haiku, some poets cite another poet or work with "following". this can indicate a poem is in dialog with another poem, is a response or a challenge, is remixing another haiku, or is otherwise referencing the same is-ness represented in another work.
much of what you're reading here is inspired by works from White Pine Press's Companions For the Journey series — which reintroduced me to haiku, completely blew my mind, and helped name this project.
of course, all of this is "following" dungeons and dragons and my regular tuesday game.
